Looking for something for your art minded child? Look no further. We meet weekly during the school year (Three weekdays to chose from). We follow the LPSS calendar for holidays. Monthly cost is $125 per month. All supplies included except frames/ framing for exhibitions, resin or encaustic. As coordinator for all exhibits a the Lafayette Downtown Public Library your child will get to participate in ongoing exhibits and learn how to create art in various different mediums. From watercolor and acrylic, to collage and mixed media. Payment can be made monthly to soulartschools@gmail.com via Venmo. We also participate annually in an exhibit at the Lafayette Consolidated Government Building and students are encourage to participate in the the Sugar Cane Festival Art Competition in New Iberia, Louisiana. Class size is limited to 6 children per class. Ages 7-15.
